THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH

            In the world of 2017, one must make certain assumptions when it comes to knowing what to believe is truth and what not to believe.  In making those assumptions, one must have a point of reference which is believed to be absolutely infallible.  Otherwise, we place our decision making about truth on questionable foundations. 

The truth is our world today is full of lies.  Politicians lie virtually every time they open their mouths.  Children lie for fear of punishment.  Criminals lie in hopes of getting away with a crime and not going to jail.  Professors lie because they want to influence their students to believe according to their belief system.  But the worst liar of all is SATAN.  He lies to us because he wants us to believe that God is a liar so we will all end up not trusting God’s word and, because of that mistrust, refuse to accept Jesus as His son, and therefore spend all eternity in hell after we die because of that refusal.  

I KNOW the Bible is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  I know that sounds like an awfully strong and questionably declarative statement, but let me explain why I say that, and then maybe others can understand why I make such a strong position.

In 1972, I was in Southeast Asia, flying combat missions.  I was scared.  On many of the missions I flew, bullets literally flew over my head and over the wings of my aircraft by what looked like inches.  I was looking for truth in my faith, because I wanted to be absolutely sure that if I was killed over there, that I would go to Heaven.  I had several wonderful friends that were of the Mormon faith (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), and I admired them because they lived a life that seemed to me to be what Christians should live.  They were kind, soft-spoken, gentle people who loved their families and others with what I would call the love of Christ. 

I asked one of my friends, a pilot named Steve, to tell me why the Mormons seemed to live a more Christian lifestyle that most of my other friends who were Christians, and as he explained it to me, he told me things that started making me question whether or not that was really the church I should belong to or not.  I liked what I heard, so they invited me to go through a process where I was taught about their church and could eventually become a member of that church. 

While many of their beliefs were totally foreign to me, their story about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith at first seemed questionable, they presented historical facts to me which gave me reason to keep an open mind.  I did, until they told me I would have to be re-baptized by someone in their church that had hands laid on them with a lineage that traced all the way back to Joseph Smith.  At that, I got a disturbing feeling in my spirit and told them I had to pray about that, because I had already been baptized twice; sprinkled in the Methodist Church, and dunked when I converted to the Baptist denomination at the request of my first wife (at that point, I believed what the preachers told me that baptism was not a requirement of salvation, but an outward expression of trust and obedience to Christ’s instructions). 

I was very uncomfortable in my spirit then, and when I later heard about our next day’s mission, I became even more uncomfortable.  We were going to fly our first mission deep into North Vietnam and attack a base which was the only North Vietnamese anti-aircraft training school.  It was a rather small base geographically, which made a fairly concentrated target, and around that base were, if my memory serves me correctly, fifty-seven anti-aircraft gun sites.

I got very scared at that point.  In my fear, I became convinced that I was going to die the next day.  I had taken anti-aircraft fire before from a few gun sites down in South Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, and they got close enough to make me question how we did not get hit, but we never did.  Now, we were going to bomb a concentrated area where they were fifty-seven guns firing on us.  In my mind, I saw no way for us to get through that much firepower without getting hit and I just accepted in my mind that I would probably die the next day.  But with that acceptance, the question of whether or not what the Mormons were telling me about baptism became an even more pressing matter, because when I died I wanted to be sure I would go to Heaven.  The Mormons believe that all other faiths will not go to Heaven; they were telling me that only those who were Mormons would go to heaven.

I started praying harder than I had ever prayed before about what to believe.  I actually fell asleep praying, but at roughly two o’clock in the morning, I woke up and sat straight up in my bed when I heard these words “Stick with what you know to be the truth” as clearly as if the person were in the room with me.  But my other three roommates were still sound asleep. 

I climbed out of my upper bunk bed and went down the hall to where Steve and his Mormon friend whose name I cannot remember were sleeping and woke them up.  I explained to them what had happened, and asked them what they thought about it.  They were very patient with me, and were obviously trying to wake up and gain some comprehension of what I had said, so they asked several questions of me getting me to explain again what had happened, and I explained as best I could what I had been going through all that day after they told me about the baptism requirement and how I had been praying hard, even falling asleep while praying.

Steve and his friend really seemed a little befuddled, but finally Steve’s friend said to me in so many words “sometimes, the devil will put thoughts in our heads in order to lead us astray, and maybe that is what is happening here.”  He had no more finished his statement when I said to him “Well why would the devil tell me to stick to the Bible?”  They had no response.  At that point, I simply excused myself and went back to my room and started praying again.

My thoughts became pretty clear to me at that point.  I had not even thought about what I would say to Steve’s friends statement; it just popped out of my mouth without my thinking about it.  In my prayers, I had not thought about the question in exactly those terms, but I had prayed hard asking God to clarify to me whether my prior teaching from the Bible about baptism were true, or whether what Steve was telling me about the Mormon faith’s beliefs about baptism were true or not.  I had not, to my recollection ever put it into context about whether the Book of Mormon was true or not because frankly, I had come to believe it was true until the baptism issue came up.

In the nine words that I heard that night, I believe that God answered my prayers.  I can state unequivocally that from that time on, I did not fear dying.  I was still afraid on every combat mission, but not of being killed, but of possibly being maimed or taken prisoner and being tortured.  But death had no hold on me any more.  I also realized two very important things that night:

1.       God confirmed in my heart and mind that the Bible was truthful and to be trusted.

2.       God answers prayers when we question Him about theological issues with a pure heart searching for truth. 

Since that time, God has revealed to me that He is giving people proof of His existence, and proof that the Bible is true.  Numerous books are available from people who have had near-death experiences and gone to Heaven and met Jesus.  The most obvious and undeniable proof to me is given in the example of two children, one a then-three-year-old from a Midwestern state, and a young Russian child from the Chicago area.  Both had experiences where they went to Heaven and met Jesus.  Neither knew of the other, but the father of the young boy, a pastor of a church in that Midwestern state, kept asking his son what Jesus looked like, showed him every picture he could find depicting Jesus, and the boy kept saying no, that wasn’t him.  Then, one day a story of the young girl was being shown on TV.  In that story, it was showing some of the beautiful paintings that this less-than-10-year-old girl from Chicago had painted, and one of them was a large painting of the Christ.  About that time, the young boy, who at that time was less than five years old, walked by the TV, and matter-of-factly told his father “That’s Him”, meaning that is what Jesus looked like.

So, a boy from the Midwest sees a picture of Jesus painted by a girl just a few years older than him from Chicago, a girl the boy had never met, and confirms that the picture is of Jesus as the boy saw Him in heaven in his near-death experience.  Coincidence?  No, I don’t think so.  When one becomes a Christian, one soon learns that in the life of a Christian, there is no such thing as coincidence when it comes to spiritual truths.

 I know all the arguments against the Bible being absolutely truthful.  I listen to my skeptical friends with the typical arguing points (shell-fish versus no-shell-fish, women cutting their hair, conflicts between the Old Testament and the New Testament, the earth being billions of years old versus thousands of years old, etc).  Do I know the answers? No.  Does that bother me?  NO!

Any religion is a belief based on one thing:  Faith.  Faith is believing and trusting in something or someone that cannot be seen or proven by empirical evidence.  However, there is another type of proof that overcomes all the issues of empirical evidence requirements.  In the Christian faith, there is the proof of the Holy Spirit.  For those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, we have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit, and that Holy Spirit is as real as your next breath.  The Holy Spirit is our interpreter when we pray but do not know how to express ourselves to our Father.  The Holy Spirit is our conscience, guiding us on our quest for truth as we face the lying society in which we live.  It is our source of the ability to believe and trust in God.  We Christians know that the Holy Spirit is real and trustworthy because it is part of the Trinity. 

Can I prove what I have told today? No.  If Steve and his friend are still alive, I hope they would confirm at least factually what I have said is true, whether or not they believe what I have said spiritually is true or not.  But in my own heart and mind I am convinced without doubt that on a hot July night before my first combat mission into deep North Vietnam I heard the voice of God speak to me as audibly as I hear anything while awake and tell me “Stick with what you know to be the truth”.  And while I am a confessed sinner, undeserving of anything but condemnation, through the undeserved grace and mercy of God, when I close my eyes in death, I will spend eternity in Heaven in the presence of the one and only God, His son Jesus Christ.   I pray others will read this and if there are any doubts as to whether I speak the truth or not, do not trust me, but go in earnest, heartfelt prayer to God and ask for His guidance, and I believe that God is faithful and will reveal His truth to you.

"PROTESTING" ATHLETES-NO! SPOILED INGRATES? YES!!

I sent this letter to Commissioner Roger Goodell today via USPS.  His failure to stop these spoile and arrogant players from dishonoring the men and women who died defending this country is, to me, unacceptable behavior, and I think he should be fired.  I for one, will NOT watch a single game where any player from either team fails to stand and honor the men and women who died during the display of the flag and the playing of the National Anthem.

 



The Dishonoring of Memorial Day by the U.S. Government and Liberals

                Today, the way our Federal Government is providing for the care and treatment of the Veterans of our military who have fought and served this nation with honor is disgraceful and dispicable.  As we approach Memorial Day, a Day where we honor the men and women who gave their lives in the defense of this nation's rights as outlined in the Constitution interpreted the way our founders intended, as a retired Officer who served in the Army and the U.S. Air Force, I am deeply offended, angered, and hurt as I see what the state of our Federal Government is today and its attitude towards the military and veterans.

                Memorial Day, to me, is the most sacred of all U.S. Federal Holiday other than Christmas or Easter.  It should be a day spent being grateful that as an American, we are privileged to live in the only nation in world history where a person is free to worship God in public whether they are Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, or any other religion.  Yet thanks to misguided liberals, congressmen, senators, and Supreme Court Justices today, I feel like our Government has allowed Memorial Day to become a day which disgraces the memory of all who have died in the service of our nation's armed forces defending its Constitution.  If the liberals in Congress, the ACLU and other evil, misguided anti-religious groups get their way, pretty soon, the only way we will be able to shout the name of God is inside church walls, as long as we do not quote God’s laws against homosexuality, gay marriage, or this politically correctness trend where we cannot say anything that might hurt somebody’s feelings.

But that is not the way the nation was originally brought into being.  Our forefathers fought a revolution to build a different type of nation; one built on Christian principles where its citizens were free to worship the God of the Bible; e.g., Jehovah, Yahweh, Elohim, Adonai, El Shaddai, and many other names, as they wished.  But you do not have to believe me; read what the founding fathers said and did about their feelings about religion and worshipping or studying God and how that integrated into government:

·         The Federal Government actually held church in the Capital building starting in 1800 and it continued until well after the War

·         “The real object of the [First Amendment] was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity, but to exclude all rivalry among Christian sects” – Justice Joseph Story, U. S. Supreme Court 1811-1845

·         “What is an establishment of religion…It [religion] must be considered as the foundation on which the whole structure rests….In this age there can be no substitute for Christianity; that, in its general principles, is the great conservative element on which we must rely for the purity and permanence of free institutions.  That was the religion of the founders of the republic, and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants.”  U. S. House Judiciary Committee of 1853-1855

·         “…The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were …the general principles of Christianity….Now I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God….I could therefore safely say, consistently with all my then and present information, that I believed they would never make discoveries in contradiction to those general principles.” Former President John Adams in a letter to former President Thomas Jefferson June 28, 1813

·         “Three points of doctrine, the belief of which, forms the foundation of all morality.  The first is the existence of a God; the second is the immorality of the human soul; and the third is a future state of rewards and punishments…. ·         “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion….Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.  It is wholly inadequate to the government of any others” John Adams, 2^nd President of the USA

·         President Franklin Delanor Roosevelt issued a Bible to soldiers during World War II.  On the inside cover, he wrote:"To the Armed Forces: As Commander-in-Chief, I take pleasure in commending the reading of the Bible to all who serve in the armed forces of the United States. Throughout the centuries men of many faiths and diverse origins have found in the Sacred Book words of wisdom, counsel and inspiration. It is a fountain of strength and now, as always, an aid in attaining the highest aspirations of the human soul."

            The U.S. Supreme court, beginning in the 1940’s arbitrarily injected a gross misinterpretation of the intent of the founders of our nation by taking a phrase from a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote to a group of Baptists that he was trying to convince that he had no intention of allowing any Christian sect to be named the official “religion” of the nation.  In that letter he introduced a clause known as the Separation of Church and State which has driven American down a path undreamed of by the founders, and on a path that will inevitably lead to its decimation as the greatest nation the earth has ever seen.

            The founding fathers all believed that America came into being and won its freedom in a revolution that was God-ordained and God-determined as to outcome.  The founders, as they wrote the Constitution, prayed before every major decision regarding a point to be or not to be included in that document.  Their original intent was for the Bible to be taught in public schools; it was the most prevalent book of its time, and as such, the leaders expected it to be used to teach everything from reading to good morals.

            Yet, the U.S. Supreme Court systematically started destroying what our founding fathers envisioned as the proper role in government by injecting their liberal desires to create a super Federal Government and decimate State’s Rights that the founders blatantly states was something that they all dreaded and warned Americans was inevitable if the citizens of the USA lost their fear of big government and their zeal to protect the State’s rights to govern their citizens.

            As a soldier who fought for this nation in two foreign campaigns, I deeply resent the intentional efforts of liberals to destroy the nation that our founders envisioned as they gave birth to it.  I deeply resent how all liberals and most other politicians today are nothing but hypocrits, power-hungry, lying, individuals that ought to be put in front of a firing squad or sent to prison for life for treason against the Constitution.  And, probably worst, I absolutely detest what the U.S. Supreme Court has become, e.g., nothing more than a political tool for the parties that they are nominated by, and who have totally ignored the intention of the writers of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as they reshaped this nation’s morals, freedoms of religions, speech, and protections from the Government that they are supposed to protect the citizens from. 

            Thomas Jefferson once said:” I hold it that a little rebellion, now and then, is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. It is a medicine necessary for the sound health of government.” and “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”  All I would say is “AMEN”.  Every soldier that values the freedoms as established by the Constitution as originally intended when written should be absolutely infuriated that the politicians are doing nothing but try to localize their own power and destroy the Bill of Rights.  In my opinion, they are traitors and are worthy only of being tarred, feathered, disgraced, and imprisoned for treason.  Their hypocrisy is unbelievable; they can send a citizen to jail for lying to Congress, but they systematically lie to the American Public without fear of any type of punishment.

            I would pray that this Memorial Day, every Veteran that has fought for this country, in honor of every soldier that has died to protect and defend the Constitution contact their elected Representatives  in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate and vent their outrage over the way that our Federal Government is treating our Constitution, and disrespecting and killing the veterans that have fought for our nation.

            Remember…evil grows and wins when good people stand by and do nothing.  Veterans have already stood on the line.  It is now the duty of the citizens of the USA to stand up and protect the rights of American Citizens as intended by the writers of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and care for the veterans in honor of the ultimate sacrifices we honor on Memorial Day.

WHAT DOES IT SAY ABOUT AMERICA THAT...

I am mad as hell, and sick to death with all the mealy-mouth reporting about what this President and his moronic bunch of followers in Washington are doing to our nation.  I am severely aggrevated with the fifty-one percent of American voters that were stupid enough to re-elect this bunch of yahoos and ignore the miserable job that he did during the first term.  

What does it say about a nation's intellectual and moral condition when the nation can re-elect a man to office whose only accomplishments in office are measured by how much of our taxpayer money he has squandered on taxpayer loans to “green” companies that have gone broke in blatant pay-offs to political supporters, the passage of a health care bill that before it is implemented already has over twenty thousand pages of regulations to implement a two thousand-plus page bill that even the government's own accountants say is going to increase health care costs by over a trillion dollars and decrease the level and quality of care to America's citizens?

What does it say about a nation that will re-elect a man who was only able to win by maliciously attacking and slandering a man because he has been a success at everything he does, like turning around a failed Olympia in America, turning around several major corporations from bankruptcy and turning them into job-producing, profitable companies, when the attacker has never run anything but a neighborhood development, taxpayer funded organization, and has run up more debt in four years than his predecessor did in eight, and has increased the national debt by fifty percent in his tenure in office with nothing to show for it?

What does it say about a nation when it will re-elect a man who, while his Libyan embassy is being over-run and four Americans killed in a well-planned, coordinated attack by Al Queda terrorists, flies off to a fund-raiser in Las Vegas without knowing whether his administration has dispatched enough forces to protect the lives of the Americans in Bengazi? What does it say about a man who would then blame the attack on Islamics mad about an independent film that is critical of the Islamic prophet Mohammad, when he knows full well it is Al Queda terrorists, but saying so will make his administration look bad because he has been bragging on Al Queda being virtually destroyed and made an irrelevant force in the middle east?

What does it say about America when it is perfectly legal for a woman to kill an unborn baby in her womb, even though that baby has a heartbeat, sucks it thumb, demonstrates with facial expressions that it feels pain, and, if left alone, would be born a perfectly healthy human being, but if a murderer kills a pregnant woman, that murderer is charged with two murders?

What does it say about a government when it will continue to give foreign aid to nations that sponsor terrorism, that have sworn an oath to destroy our only real ally in the middle east, Israel, that burn American flags, and that verbally repeat how much they hate America and call us the great Satan, but they will cut-off funds to American citizens who want to pay fifteen dollars to take a tour of the White House, or a tour of a national park, or stop paying college tuition for our returning combat soldiers which were promised the opportunity to get college tuition assistance if they served in our all volunteer military?

What it says to me is that America is so self-absorbed that it worries more about poor cell phone reception than it does about rogue nations like Iran and North Korea possessing nuclear power that inevitably will be used against America's allies and possible America herself.  What it says to me is that we are more worried about fake shampoo in a bottle on an airplane that we are with individuals carrying knives onto an airplane.  What it says to me is that we have lost touch with the realities of right and wrong, morality and immorality, and honor and truthfulness being good qualities and lying and "spinning" the truth being wrong!  

What it says to me is that about fifty-one percent of Americans are so selfish, so gullible, and so concerned about their own welfare that they care only about what they can get out of the government personally and to hell with the rest of the nation. What it says to me is that America is a morally bankrupt nation that worships Hollywood movie stars and celebrities, but barely notices when young, brave Americans die on a battlefield in places like Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. You want proof?  We hang on every action of bimbos like Snookie, Kim, and Brittany, but we allow attacks on wonderful women like Ann Romney and Sarah Palin. What it says to me is that Satan has deceived fifty-one percent of Americans into believing that immorality is the new morality, that it is OK for the New Black Panther Party to stand in front of polling places and intimidate voters, but it is illegal for states, which by the U.S. Constitution are independent sovereign entities, to pass laws that make it a requirement for someone to prove that they are a legal citizen of the state and this nation in order to cast a vote. It says to me that it is OK for force states to fund education, health care, food stamps, free transportation, housing, cell phones, and prevent law enforcement from demanding proof of citizenship before receiving these handouts, but a person cannot apply for social security, VA disability, or even a job at the Post Office without providing copies of their social security card and their drivers' license to get an interview. In other words, it says that our Government is more concerned about protecting the votes it gets/buys from illegal aliens and their legal families in American than it is about protecting the rights of taxpaying citizens of this country, and that fifty-one percent of us are so self-absorbed and morally bankrupt that we don't care enough to kick them out and generate any moral outrage at their behavior.

What it says to me is that we have a socialist moron that fifty-one percent of Americans were stupid enough to vote for because they can be sold a bill of goods by a snake-oil salesman. What it says to me is that fifty-one percent of this nation elect liars, con artists, whores, and morons to our congress because they could care less about anything in America but what they can get out of the government to pad their own pockets while they rest of the nation can go to hell. What it says to me is that a majority of our U.S. Senators and far too many of our U.S. Representatives are so corrupt that they deserve to be tried for treason, or at worst for lying to the public, malfeasance in office, and run out of town on a rail after being tarred and feathers.

What it says to me is that people are so busy being convinced that they are victims, that they have lost sight that this has been for over two-hundred years and is still the greatest nation on earth that has ever existed, and that all this effort to be sure that we do not forget where we came for has blinded us to the facts that we better be damn careful and protect where we are now because it is sliding down a slippery slope to moral, economic, and spiritual destruction. What it tells me is that fifty-one percent of America better get the damn blinders and scales off their eyes, or all hell is going to break lose in America the same way it has in Europe. What it tells me is that fifty-one percent of America better realize that, as Margaret Thatcher once said “The only problem with socialism is that pretty soon, it runs out of rich and working people from whom it can take from to give to the poor and lazy people.” What it means is that if people do not start taking responsibility for their own futures and quit expecting the government to take care of their futures, their nanny nipple is going to run dry, and they will not know how to make it on their own. What it means is that our nation makes Sodom and Gohomorrah look like a Sunday-school class, and that a just and righteous God is going to smack-down America if we continue like we are going now, and deservedly so.

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuch Schumer, Joe Biden, Barack Obama...they may be educated from these “fine” New England liberal colleges, but they are some of the most misguided, brainwashed, stupid morons I have ever had the displeasure to have to have leading this nation. Too harsh words to describe them?  Well, what do you call someone who runs head-long into socialist practices that have repeatedly failed for over one hundred years everywhere that they have been implemented.  What do you call it when someone sacrifices four Americans in order to protect his re-election campaign from having to admit that his assessments about the threat of Al Queda are wrong?  What do you call it when a man says personally he is opposed to abortion, but does everything in his power to make American taxpayers pay for it when over fifty percent of us believe abortion is murder!  What do you call it when he wants to shred the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution by trying to start seizing guns and collecting data on every gun owner in America?  I call it treason!  I call it actions worthy and demanding of impeachment.  I call it a total disregard for the intent of the founding fathers wishes when they penned the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  I call it dispicable, detestible, and dastardly behavior that is beneath contempt.  In other words, I call it stupid, moronic behavior of a supposedly intelligent group of individuals that have lost total touch with reality.  I call it public bribary and buying of votes.  I call it disprespect of our nation's fighting men, and I call it the most disgusting practice of political behavior I have ever seen.

Especially Obama. To have that stupid moron as the Commander in Chief of the military, a man with no honor, no code of conduct, no leadership skills, and no experience with the military, one who refuses to place his hand over his heart during the playing of the national anthem, one who puts the wrong hand over his heart during the playing of the national anthem, disgusts me, and I would love to tell him to his face. No, on second thought, I would not like to tell him to his face. My time is more valuable than to waste it on the likes of him. I hope I never have the displeasure of having to come face to face with him; I am afraid I would probably throw up at the revulsion I would feel at the sight of the man.

It is a travesty of justice and an insult to the honor and memory of our heroes in the military that someone like that should ever allowed to even be in the presence of soldiers who risk their lives or have given their lives in battle defending this nation.

I firmly believe that Obama is the consummate liar, the consummate con-man, and a person that is ideologically committed to destroying the capitalistic system in America. He is a fool and an ideologue because he refuses to learn from history, and he has deceived fifty-one percent of American into following him. I frankly think it is time for the twenty-four states that Romney won to band together and succeed from the U.S.A. And form a new nation before we have to go down the tubes with the rest of those idiot states that this bunch of idiots and socialists are determined to bankrupt!

OBAMACARE - THE DEATH SENTENCE FOR SENIORS WHO GET SICK!

I received this email today.  It is extremely scary to me since I will be turning 66 in April.  

When I went into the military in 1969, I was promised that if I served twenty years and retired, I would be provided FREE healthcare for life, along with a pension.  What a lie!!

I am already having to pay nearly three hundred dollars a month for my healthcare (Medicare and my supplemental care for my spouse).  Now, I see this and I learn that my costs are going up and my coverage and care benefits are being drastically reduced!  Thanks a lot for all that, especially after I fought in Vietnam and Desert Storm to protect this nation!  The DEMOCRATS are SCREWING seniors and veterans royally, but their gold-plated healthcare plans make Obamacare look like trash (which it is!!!)

Here is the email I received today that I wish everyone would read so the truth will come out about this monstrosity called Obamacare, and it will be repealed!!!

THIS should be read by everyone, especally important to those over 75. If you are younger, then it applies to your parents.

Your hospital Medicare admittance has just changed under Obama Care. You must be admitted by your primary Physician in order for Medicare to pay for it! If you are admitted by an emergency room doctor it is treated as outpatient care where hospital costs are not covered. This is only the tip of the iceberg for Obama Care. Just wait to see what happens in 2013 & 2014!

At age 72, today, I went to the Dr. for my monthly B12 shot that I have been getting for a number of years. The nurse came and got me, got out the needle filled and ready to go then looked at the computer and got very quiet and asked if I was prepared to pay for it. I said no that my insurance takes care of it.

She said, that Medicare had turned it down and went to talk to my Dr. about it. 15 minutes later she came back and said, she was sorry but they had tried every-thing they could but Medicare is beginning to turn many things down for seniors because of the projected Obama Care coming in. She was brushing at tears and said, "Some day they too will get old", I am so very sorry!!

Please for the sake of many good people, please... pass this on. We all need to be informed.

Thomas Jefferson-a Close Personal Look

I wish I had originated this. But since this is a blog, and since I am not taking any credit for this other than re-posting it, I am going to do so and state my emphatic agreement with it's content and purpose.

Its content is very pointed; Jefferson was perhaps the smartest of the founding fathers. Its purpose is to relate to everyone that reads it how Jefferson felt about big government...he both feared and hated it. Too bad the buffoons running our Government today are not nearly as smart or wise as Jefferson was.

At 5, began studying under his cousin's tutor.

At 9, studied Latin, Greek and French.

Who are the real "haters"?

We have some real dumb creatures in Congress, folks, and it is time we came to realize that they have been up there so long, they have completely lost touch with reality. Unfortunately, and embarrasingly, however, we have no-one to blame but OURSELVES! For some reason, we have become so stupid that we follow along with these morons leadership like lemmings following the lead lemming off the cliff to their deaths!

I am a conservative, Christian, heterosexual, pro-life, pro-religion, pro-gun male. That makes me, according to the U.S. Congress part of so many “hate” groups that I cannot count that high. Who defines a hate group, though? How do they know we hate anything? Facts be know, I do not hate anyone, even those crazy lunatics in Congress that call me a hater. I think down deep, many of them are probably decent people, except maybe Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Diane Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, Andrew Cuomo, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama, who I happen to believe are maniacal Hitler wanna-be's. But I do not even hate them; I pity them, but I absolute DISPISE their actions, per Jesus's instructions to “...love the sinner, hate the sin.”

Most Christians do not hate people, because Christians have a conscience; it is called the Holy Spirit that lives inside us. We believe the founders, who were almost to a man, God-fearing, God-loving Christians of varying denominations. We believe they understood that America's freedoms were due to blessings and protections from God, and not of our own works. We believe they understood that for America's freedoms to perpetuate and grow, that God's laws needed to be the foundations for the laws of the land, and that is why they wanted the Bible taught in public schools, why before almost every major decision was made regarding the content of the Constitution, the delegates prayed together and separately before the vote.

I believe that America was victorious in both World Wars because we understood and still held to the views of our founders, and we appealed as a nation to God for the protection and victories so that our freedoms could be ongoing, and we believe God answered those prayers. But since World War II, liberals, who believe the Constitution is an outdated, irrelevant document that needs to be rewritten to make it more relevant to today's world, have done the deal-level best to slowly and surely re-write history to make their visions of America come to pass; a nation where God is constrained to the inside of houses of worship and unwelcome anywhere else.

Liberals DO hate. They hate conservatives; they hate anyone and anything that does not think like they do, and that resists their efforts to change America. They hate democracy; they hate Christianity because it stands for everything they stand against. They hate pro-life people, and refuse to recognize that a fetus is a human, even though if no pro-active actions are taken, that fetus will be born alive and a human being. They believe if someone kills a woman who is pregnant, that the killer is guilty of two murders, but on the other hand, they think it is perfectly OK to commit partial birth abortions by sticking a pair of scissors into the brains of a partially born infant and scramble its brains to kill it, and they call that protecting a woman's right to privacy over her body. REALLY?

No, folks, the real “haters” are liberals. They hate anyone and anything that stands in their way of turning America into a socialist, agnostic, secular, utopian, nanny state. They hate the Constitution because the founders knew that eventually, power-crazy politicians would do everything they could to steal our God-given rights and turn them into rights given by the Government, which can then, at the Government's whelm, be taken away by that government. They hate guns, because guns are the only real protection that the American citizens have against a power-crazy bunch of politicians like we now have forcefully turning us into a nation of cowering pawns controlled by these power crazy politicians. They hate the founders because they know the founders knew what they were going to try to do sooner or later, and created the 2^nd Amendment to the Constitution to protect the citizens' rights to bear arms (any kind of Arms we feel like owning), so that if needed, the citizens could rise up against the Government and forcefully throw them out if they go too crazy!

Liberals hate the truth, and they hate facts.  Confronted with the facts that the ten-year ban on assault weapons started under the Clinton Administration did nothing, when these mass shooting happened, what did they do?  They climbed right back on that dead horse and now are advocating even stronger controls!  What a bunch of idiots!  There are so many analogies that could be made, but just to quote one, blaming guns for these mass shootings is like blaming the airplanes for the 9/11 attacks.  Both make about as much sense!  They are such ideologues that they refuse to acknowledge that virtually every demogogue government over the last century got its start by dearming the citizenry (Hitler, Stalin, Mousselini, Mao, North Korea, Cuba, just to name a few.  They refuse to acknowledge that every situation where the citizens have been disarmed, violent crime rates and the overall crime rates have risen.  It leave the citizens helpless against criminals who care less about the law and will get a gun by theft or by buying them on the black market.  GUN BANS are Unconstitutional, and THEY DO NOT WORK!  Liberals, get that through your thick skulls!

Did anyone blame the airplanes?  No?  Has anyone done anything to try and restrict airplane flights to stop things like this from happening?  No?  But they want to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens, they want to restrict how much ammunition, how many rounds can go in a magazine on our weapons, and want to stop the manufacturers from manufacturing assault weapons or even weapons that are "ugly".  If we follow that analogy, then we probably need to make airplane manufacturers stop manufacturing airplanes bigger than a piper cub so they cannot bring down sky-scrapers.  They should suggest we ground all the airplanes that hold enough fuel to cause fires like those that brought down the World Trade Centers.

Their idea of "fixing" things is always to restrict American's rights.  They are ideologues that absolutely have no concept that it is not the tools that are evil, it is not the tool makers that are evil, it is people who use the tools that do bad things.  But can they admit that?  No, because then they would have to admit that their social experiments where they have removed morality, God, discipline, and punishment from the schools, prisons, government buildings and organizations has failed.  They would have to acknowledge that America is an undisciplined, immoral, agnostic, heathen nation, led by undisciplined, selfish, immoral, agnostic, heathen bunch of liberals and that is the reason you have such crazy, unthinkable situations like Newtown, Columbine, Aurora, and on and on and on is the list of unspeakable crimes committed by seriously ill, mentally ill individuals that were never disciplined because the "system" did not want to say that they were unfit for society.   So...the liberals in our government just look for other reasons and other actions that they can take which further their agenda, regardless of the truths that slap them in the face.  It frankly is time for a good house cleaning and a return to the path that the founders envisioned for America.

We are just about there, America. We have some people with a serious God-complex trying to take our guns, run rough-shod over our religious principles, and use fancy words and lies to try and convince us all that wrong is right, black is white, and good is evil, and sadly, a majority of us seem to be falling for it. Why would I say we are falling for it? Because about fifty two percent of the voters in this last election re-elected a man who had done absolutely nothing constructive in four years in office, had increased our debt by 50% in four years, squandered over a trillion dollars on ponzi schemes to reward contributors, backed union thugs in armed confrontation with law-abiding citizens trying to keep states from going bankrupt, cowed down to Muslims, prayed with Muslims but refused to lead the country on its recognized day of prayer, and purposely divided our nation, committed character assassination on one of America's finest families and business leaders, and refused to take any action which got four Americans killed in Bengazi, Lybia, then lied to the nation about who committed those crimes, and stone-walled Congress investigating how our ATF provided guns to Mexican drug cartels, which ended up being used to kill an American border guard.

Who are the haters? The Liberals, and a self-centered, greedy, self-gratifying bunch of gullible Americans were foolish enough to believe the garbage the man spit out and re-elect the lying piece of trash for four more years.

Do I sound like I hate? I confess, I do. But I do not hate people, just the ideas that they try to shove down the rest of our throats that go against everything that the Constitution, the faith of our founders, and the country's history stood for prior to 1947. I do NOT hate the President, I do not hate liberals. I absolutely detest their actions, however. I detest their lies, their manipulation of the facts, their judgmental ways of looking at God fearing Americans, and the way they lie and enslave millions of gullible people by giving them just enough to get buy on and destroying their self-esteem, their self-confidence, and their self-discipline. I DO hate their actions, I DO condemn their actions, and I DO NOT intend to become one of those idiots or victims that they bully or cow-down. I will fight them tooth and nail, toe-to-toe, face-to-face with the truth, and at the same time pray for their souls.
